On March 8th, it was officially announced that the series is coming to an end. Season 5 is going to be the last and final season of the Queen of the South on Netflix.
Production for Season 5 was delayed due to the restrictions of the COVID pandemic. Due to this only, the season aired so late on the TV. April 7th, 2021 was the date when Season 5 of Queen of the South got aired on USA Network.
