What can we expect from Record of Ragnarok season 2?
The plot of Records of Ragnarok revolves around a battle between gods and humans. A group of gods wanted to wipe out humanity from the earth. To stop this carnage, humanity’s greatest warriors challenged the gods to a one-on-one fight, which the gods accepted.
In Season 1, we only saw three of the 13 bouts. The gods win two battles against humanity and enter the fourth round with a 2–1 lead. Round 1 was fought between God Thor and Human Lu Bu, which Thor won. 2nd round was fought between the god Zeus and the human Adam, and Adam lost the round to the god. Round 3 was fought between God Poseidon and Human Kojiro Sasaki which was won by Human.
The fourth round begins just before the end of season 1, set between the god Hercules and history’s most infamous serial killer Jack the Ripper. The fifth round will feature a fight between Lord Shiva and the human Raiden Tameemon, while the sixth round will see Lord Zerofuku face the human Buddha. With the limited number of manga chapters being published, we do not know the remaining seven battle contestants.
