Edens Zero is the internationally licensed Netflix Original Japanese anime series that has been created by one of the most famous J.C. Staff. What Are The Updates About The Renewal Status Of Edens Zero?
Soon after the Season 1 final episode aired in Japan, there was an update that the show is coming up with another new season. On October 2nd, the official Twitter account for the anime announced this news through a tweet.
Sadly, this was the news that followed up with the tragic announcement that the director of the series Yūshi Suzuki had passed away. However, it is very much unclear how Suzuki’s passing impacted the production of Season 2 but it is very much sure that more and more episodes are coming up in the future for Edens Zero.
How Many Manga Chapters Will Be Covered In The Season 2 Of Edens Zero?
It has been found that around 25 episodes of the first season, roughly 68 chapters from the Manga were covered. After reading about it properly we can predict that the next season will end most probably at 133rd or 138th chapters.
How Many Seasons Of Edens Zero Will Arrive On Netflix?
At the time of writing, there were around 171 published manga chapters, which in short means that we can expect around 60+ chapters from each season. There are dozens of episodes that still need to be covered. Hence, from here we can predict that the series will most probably have around three to four seasons in total. However, this is just a prediction; there are no official updates about it yet.
When Will Season 2 Of Edens Zero Be Released On Netflix?
The first episode from Season 1 got broadcast in Japan on April 11th, 2021. However, it is very much unclear whether spring 2022 will see the return of the anime or not.
If Season 2 does not return in spring 2022, then we can say that it would most probably return by August 2022. Hence, the only thing we can do is wait for the Season 2 release.
