Disenchantment follows the adventure of Elfo, Bean, and Luci through the Kingdom of Dreamland. The show is created by Matt Groening and has released 40 episodes to date after its premiere on August 17th, 2018. The show dropped 10 episodes at once.
How well Disenchantment Season 4 is doing on Netflix?
Netflix released two weeks of data on global stream hours. Season 4 was released on February 9th, 2022. For the first week, the series scored 17 million watch hours before tumbling. The second week witnessed a 28% drop and collected 12.3 million watch hours.
IMDB MovieMeter suggested that season 4 failed to keep up the same pace as the past seasons.
Will Netflix renew Disenchantment for season 5?

It’s been more than 9 months and Disenchantment is still waiting for a decision. Season 2/Part 3 of the series was announced a month after the completion of seasons 1/part 1 & 2. Having to wait for a long renewal status is often a bad sign. The show might have been canceled quietly.
All the trailers of Disenchantment have been removed from the YouTube channel and social media accounts have gone inactive since February 9. Many animators who worked on Disenchantment are now working on Futurama.

What can we expect from the Disenchantment part/season 5?
Let’s have a look at the events of Disenchantment part 4 before diving into what to expect.
In the last episode, Bean confronts her evil version, they engage in a pitched battle, possessed and then saved by Luci. Bean is also seen trying to sharpen her new electric powers. Whereas, Zog and Odval head to save Derek and Jasper on steamland but the plan gets ruined by the knock-out of Zog.
In the post-credit scene, Dagmar is seen sitting on the throne with Satan and the evil bean’s severed head, looking and smiling at the audience. In part 5 we can expect to see an exploration of the relationship between Bean and Mora and the feud between Dagmar and Bean reaching new levels. We can see Bean awakening existing powers and developing new powers.
